Along its 351-mile course, the "Train Farez" passes through the counties of San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo. Part of the route even hugs the Southern California coastline. With 26 trains a day and almost 3 million passengers annually, it is the second busiest intercity passenger rail corridor in the US.
In addition to power outlets, free Wi-Fi, toilets, bike and luggage racks, and wide picture windows, all "Train Farez" trains provide cosy, reclining seats. Fresh cuisine, snacks, and drinks, such as wine, cocktails, and regional craft beer, are served at the market-style café on board. For further benefits, travellers can also choose to upgrade to Business Class.
Stations in Ventura, Santa Barbara, Orange, Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Luis Obispo counties are served by the "Train Farez".
Starting in San Luis Obispo, the "Train Farez" itinerary winds its way past prestigious locations including Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, San Juan Capistrano, and San Diego along the breathtaking California coastline.
The LOSSAN Rail Corridor Agency, a joint powers authority, is in charge of managing the "Train Farez" service locally. Its goals include improving the rail corridor's capacity, dependability, safety, coordination, and ridership. Go to lossan.org to find out more about the organisation.
